Welcome
to The
Sheldon Arms
The Sheldon Arms is a family friendly carvery pub with chicken rotisserie, serving fresh, homemade food and locally crafted Cask Marque accredited ales. The pub’s just off junction 23 of the M60 on the A6140, Lord Sheldon Way in Ashton-Under-Lyne and a stone’s throw away from the Ashton Moss complex and the Snipe Retail Park.
If you’re looking for a place for a pint with friends, or a meal with family, then look no further than the Sheldon Arms. We serve great pub food all day, including our famous daily rotisserie & carvery (we’re very popular so it’s best to book at table on evenings and weekends), along with a new menu, and freshly prepared daily specials. There’s always plenty on at the pub. To keep up to date with all our latest events, take a look at our What’s On page and sign up to our newsletter

Just the one visit here but the overall impression was friendly , clean and great food. I would highly recommend the burger. Great value for money and felt very comfortable there. Would highly recommend it.
Stayed in Ashton-Under Lyne Travelodge for a nights stay . We were attending a family Golden wedding celebration. We used this place for a bite to eat late afternoon and breakfast the next day. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The food we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this place highly
Visited for my Dad’s 75th Birthday, great atmosphere and staff very welcoming. We had the carvery and really enjoyed, my Grandson has a gluten free diet and the staff gave great advice on what he could have, also the Chef went out of his way and made some mashed potatoes for him, thank you.
